How much should couples plan their playlist and how much should they just trust their DJ to read the room?
Since everyone has unique taste in music, we always encourage couples to share what they love for the dancefloor. However, many couples worry that their personal favorites might not work for all their friends and family. This is where your DJ plays a key role blending the couple's favorite songs with proven crowd-pleasersw to keep the dancefloor full!
Song requests: yes or no? And how do you deal with that guest who is particularly persistent?
Before the special day, we ask our couples if they want to allow song requests. Some love the idea, while others prefer not to. Some couples choose to restrict requests to specific guests, or collect requests ahead of time via their RSVPs. This gives them a chance to filter out any songs they might not want at their wedding!
If a couple decides on a strict "no request" policy and a guest is particularly persistent, we simply tell the guest that we don't have that track in our library, then offer to play another song they might like instead!

Having distinct areas on the property allows you to build musical energy naturally as guests transition from the ceremony, to lawn cocktails, to the indoor party.
