Summer mid-week weddings, $3500 venue hire; plus accommodation two nights, three days for 18 in homestead from midday Tuesday to 4 pm Thursday $3400; plus 5 guests in Tarureka Cottage: $425 per night - minimum two nights (for details, see over). The music and bar for winter weddings close at 11 pm, with guests leaving by 11.30 pm.
Winter weddings two nights, three days $2800 venue hire. Accommodation package: $3400 for 18 guests in the homestead from midday Friday to 4 pm Sunday; plus 5 guests in the cottage: $425 per night - minimum 2 nights (for details, see over).  Winter season from 1st May to 31st July 2019. The music and bar for winter weddings close at 11 pm, with guests leaving by 11.30 pm. We are closed in August and September.

Our caterers are Crescendo Cuisine and Chef on Demand . We do not have outside caterers at Tarureka.

HOMESTEAD: $3400 for 2 days from midday the day before your wedding to 4 pm the day after your wedding. (Mandatory in summer)

COTTAGE: $425 for 2 nights (minimum 2 nights) from 2 pm the day before your wedding to 11 am the day after your wedding.

  • Outdoor ceremony with pews (no charge if moved by wedding party) or an indoor ceremony option in the stunning upstairs hay loft, with its soaring, totara-lined roof space, sound system, and seating for 120 guests.

  • Bar area and dance floor, plus seating for the after-reception party

  • Exclusive use of the 3 acres of gardens for guests and photos.

  • An experienced event and wedding planner on hand from the day you book
